The Biostar Screen is a fixed shaft Star Screen designed within 3m long sections, each containing 12 shafts depending on the screening size required.
Fitted on a universal mounting frame, each Star Shaft in independently driven by its own motor so that if a motor were to fail, the machine would still be able to operate until a maintenance break can be taken.
The standard star is a 260mm diameter component manufactured from polyurethane, but there are several options depending on the screening size required and the type of material being processed.
Normally these machines can be set from 20mm to 40mm, whilst other screening sizes can be accommodated by the addition of spacers between the stars to increase the gaps, or the addition of star collars to reduce the gap between the stars. For screening wet materials below 20mm we recommend the use of a Varistar machine.
