Originally designed and patented by ProStar, the VariStar is the Star Screen which features shafts that are adjustable for gap, this gives the operator the facility to screen different materials at different sizes, and to fine-tune the screening size instantly, at the touch of a button.
The BioStar range offers a choice of sizes of robust Star Screens with fixed shafts, with the following screening sizes available:- 20mm, 30mm, 40mm, 80mm, 120mm. For a screening requirement of less than 20mm we recommend the use of a VariStar machine.
New to the range, the Galaxy is a smaller Star Screen with a mechanically operated star shaft adjustment mechanism giving a 1-18mm star gap. The Galaxy is the perfect screen for the smaller operation, as it offers a compact package with sufficient throughput to handle most screening operations.
The VariStar 34M is a semi-mobile Star Screen which incorporates a VariStar 12-1200 Adjustable Star Screen on a wheeled chassis for mobility around the yard. The VariStar 34M gives you the flexibility of an adjustable Star Screen within a compact mobile package.
